How to use Appi AI to check your symptoms safely
Get the most useful, accurate triage guidance from GProv's Appi AI symptom assessment.
Step-by-step
-
Step 1: Describe symptoms in plain language
Open https://www.gprov.com/appi and type or speak your symptoms naturally. Include onset ('started 3 days ago'), severity ('moderate'), and any context ('after a long flight'). Don't worry about medical terms — Appi understands plain language.
-
Step 2: Answer the follow-up questions
Appi will ask 2-5 follow-up questions to narrow down possibilities. Answer honestly and in detail. The more context, the sharper the triage.
-
Step 3: Read the urgency level carefully
Appi returns one of three urgency tiers: Emergency (call 911 / go to ER), Urgent (see a clinician within 24-48h), or Routine (schedule a regular visit). Treat the urgency level as the primary signal.
-
Step 4: Use the suggested next step
If Emergency, Appi shows the nearest ER via Find Care. If Urgent, Appi can find an in-network urgent care or telehealth provider that accepts your insurance. If Routine, Appi explains what to ask your primary care provider at the next visit.
-
Step 5: Save the assessment to your record
Appi can save the symptom assessment to your PAMI Profile so your providers can see the full picture at your next visit. Optional, but useful for tracking patterns over time.
